A keyguard, or computer overlay guide, is designed to enable people with upper extremity disabilities to use a standard computer keyboard. Intended for users who are unable to keep their hand elevated, who use a headwand or mouthstick, or are otherwise limited in motor skills, the keyguard insures you hit only the key you intend to hit. The Apple IIGS was a popular personal computer made by Apple Computer between1986 and 1992.
